Myrkia Jade (Kia, but not the car) is a 21 year old video editor and graphic designer in Los Angeles.
A self taught filmmaker out of high school, Kia began designing websites, pitch decks, and sizzle reels as a freelance artist. After writing her own scripts and shooting her own documentaries and music videos, the young director navigated the industry working with companies like XTR, Hulu, Worthen Brooks, WTP Pictures, and Death Ground LLC. as a woman in film.
Currently signed under Nous Model Management's Women's Board, Kia has spent her modeling career in major cities locking in fashion week in CDMX and trekking the bustling market of Los Angeles.
Myrkia's work expands across the Adobe Creative Suite: Premiere Pro, Lightroom, Illustrator, Audition, and photoshop. With acceptances from NYU Tisch and the University of California, Berkeley in 2021 for her storytelling and film archive, Myrkia continues her love for documentaries through directing, interviewing, and editing.
